Burger and chips at Eggspectation
The idea of Eggspectation derived from Montreal in 1993. It was just started with limited thoughts but with great passion and high innovative ideas including memorable experiences. It was actually founded in Canada, by Enzo Renda, who still focused in the brand. He was served as a Chief Executive Officer and Director in 2014. His entrepreneurial ideas and passion for hospitality leads towards a big growth both in Canada and many other international countries and gradually it started working in many other countries including United States, Dubai and Pakistan too. His major concern emphasized on high quality ingredients, an elegant dining atmosphere and unique experience, with these attributes this restaurant maintains a competition in market.
Enzo Renda’s mindset was to make a combination of both creativity and hospitality by ensuring that Eggspectation should not only offers meals but provide a marvellous and memorable experience for visitors and their families from brunch to dinner. He also focuses on high quality ingredients and very charming welcome with main goal to work on slow services in order to foster his customer loyalty.
Eggspectation has arrived in Pakistan and in many other countries in 2010 and spread in many towns in Lahore like DHA, Dolmen mall, Gulberg with a widespread in Karachi, Islamabad. If we talk the experiences about restaurant in Pakistan by witnessing multiple reviews of visitors that in order to get your favourite meal with your favourite ingredients then Have some Eggspectations because this is new level of innovation that led towards the diverse and satisfying menu that ranges from freshly prepared artisanal brioche French toast to thin French crepes, Belgian waffles, fluffy buttermilk pancakes, burgers, pastas, steak, seafood and much more to eat. Those Montreal’s taste buds have grown in Pakistan’s fresh, clean and very tasty modern American Cuisine.
Even after decades this restaurant will have thrill to make their customer happy with their friendly culture by focusing on the Eating goal and a passionate reverence for everything. By now Eggspectaion has been grown with their reputations and guest satisfaction review and now they are very close to thirst locations worldwide.
Eggspectaion with their engaging experiences also wanted to ensure with their flavourful recipes which are presented by those people who truly cares about the guests so they worked – and continue to work in order to build a restaurant- café which relish a great chance to deliver a casual, caring and engaging experience.
To manage the level of light-hearted and trendy cosmopolitan café they reached out for contemporary artwork in order to show hot décor to convey the full Eggspectation experience.
If we talk about staff training, then Eggspectation has a best trained staff and they are trained intensively to upgrade the restaurant’s environment to the high standards by providing best hospitality and dining quality ever.
They crafted a space that combine Eggspectation’s signature warmth with fresh and contemporary Pakistani vibe and it actually provides a marvellous vibe of both Canada and Pakistan. Eggspectation has a strong launch campaign, they reached out towards the community by inviting locals to experience Eggspectation first hand.
Talking about the location within Lahore. It has multiple branches like Main boulevard, Gulberg in boulevard 57, CUE Cinema. Eggspectaion does not rely on restrictions, it has opened door throughout in COVID-19 as well, They shifted their sittings outdoor without creating any FUSS with their customers, they provide dining at mid-February when the third wave of Coronavirus was announced, even though they created a very cool environment by setting up their furniture with white, greys and black colours which shows a very sophisticated environment. Inside, the spacious dining hall and mezzanine have an industrial chic café feel with wood, metal pipes and a bar with some artwork.
The diverse and extensive menu may boggle the mind and make it hard to choose from all sorts of sweet and savoury options like crepes, bagels, loads of eggs, pasta, burgers and sandwiches, flatbreads, some mighty main entrees and "sweet conclusions".
After taking a while to make up our minds, we were good to go with our order. The first course was the Smoked Wild Sockeye Salmon Crostini that had cream cheese spread on toasted ciabatta bread slices topped with smoked salmon and sprinkled with capers and diced red onions and cucumbers. The salmon stood out like a star and sang through the plate, but we just wished the bread was toasted a bit more and was crispier.
Next up was the Eggspectation Bagel Breakfast Sandwich: lettuce, tomato, onion, fried egg, Swiss cheese and beef bacon sandwiched inside a Montreal-style sliced bagel, with Lyonnaise-style potatoes served on the side.
This one was a letdown as the egg dominated the sandwich, the whole thing had a one-dimensional flavour profile, bordering on bland, and lacked a kick. We wished the New York-style bagel was used instead whose sourdough could have added some much-needed tang. The potatoes on the side also should have been crispy.
